When Park Row was first built, the many tall apartment buildings were seen as upscale and new - and within walking distance of Amusement Mile and The Bowery to sweeten the pot. But years of neglect have left them rundown, their lights dim, and the streets full of crime. It vies with The Bowery for the title of the most dangerous neighborhood in Gotham. It's a cheap place to live, but that's really the only thing going for it. The story of the Bowery is similar - with its numerous balconies and walkways that were meant to encourage foot traffic within the district, what once was a thriving shopping hub is now full of seedy businesses with barred windows, if they're managing to remain open at all. |

A nightclub that manages to function in spite of its location - partly because its owners know the value of employing many very capable bouncers, but mostly because it tends to attract the sort of clientele that more petty criminals are afraid to mess with. There's a lot of money to be made in Gotham if you don't pay any attention to who is giving it to you... One does not rob a mob boss's favorite place to play cards, and some of the faces that have been seen around here lately are even scarier than that. |
