Sommerset

This is the part of the mainland immediately to the west of the main islands that form the core of Gotham city. Many vital but space-consuming elements of the city can be found here, including the Archie Goodwin International Airport and the main Gotham Light & Power buildings. There are also many warehouses, homes, and businesses in this area - many of them larger and cheaper than could be found in Gotham proper. But with the hassle of trying to find a bridge or tunnel into the city that isn't bottlenecked, it isn't worth it for many.
