Park Row & The Bowery

When Park Row was first built, the many tall apartment buildings were seen as upscale and new - and within walking distance of Amusement Mile and The Bowery to sweeten the pot. But years of neglect have left them rundown, their lights dim, and the streets full of crime. It vies with The Bowery for the title of the most dangerous neighborhood in Gotham. It's a cheap place to live, but that's really the only thing going for it. The story of the Bowery is similar - with its numerous balconies and walkways that were meant to encourage foot traffic within the district, what once was a thriving shopping hub is now full of seedy businesses with barred windows, if they're managing to remain open at all.
